What began as a restoration evolved into a full-scale rebuild, carefully planned to honour the character of this 1910s villa while adapting it for modern family life.
The project involved lifting and repiling the original three-bedroom home, followed by extensive reframing, reroofing, and a complete internal reconfiguration. Every space was thoughtfully reimagined while preserving the villa’s original charm.
Working closely with the homeowners, the Loughnan Construction team delivered a new kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and scullery, alongside custom features including a new archway, attic storage, and underfloor heating. Externally, the home was enhanced with a modern open garage, landscaped pathways, and decked outdoor areas that connect seamlessly to the living spaces.
The result is a warm, light-filled home that blends timeless character with contemporary comfort.
